Since Shakespeares time, a huge number of artistic materials were created or performed based on his forges. Romeo and Juliet is one of his most famous works which is significant because of its powerful story and dialogs. Baz Luhrmanns version of this play is different from most of the other adaptations based on it.
In my opinion, Luhrmanns Romeo and Juliet fails to satisfy the viewers in many ways. The mentation behind the film would seem seminal at first-class honours degree, but the problem is that the combination of a unblemished play and a modern world depicted in a mainstream deliver format just doesnt make sense.
I judge those that watch the film could be divided into two groups. The first group is the enthusiasts who are familiar with the true play. This group would plausibly become disappointed when they see modern characters saying the original dialogs which I believe doesnt fit the mood. For instance, if someone goes to an strategic official meeting and talks in an informal or rude language it would seem uncanny. It is the same for this film as two completely different moods are mixed into for each one other.
The second group is those who watch the film without enough antecedent information about the play and those who prefer the mainstream Hollywood films in which they can find stunning special effects, action scenes and keen looking actors. This group may not be fans of classic literature and Shakespeares plays and the way the characters talk is probably not their cup of tea. Other than that, the film fails to represent the story healthy enough and the viewers do not get to revive to the films story, environment and the characters.
All in all, darn some people might find this adaptation creative or unique, I think it was not the smartest thing to do and the dialogs do not match the environment of the film.
