Oral Outline
Introduction:
In our gratuityation, we will be featuring eye of Darkness, wrriten by Joseph Conrad. First, an analysis of Kurtz will be presented, then an analysis of the setting and themes of the novel will be presented, and finally, we will present an excerpt, or brass story, that we have created and inserted into the novel itself. In this side story, a different perspective of Kurtz will be presented and much of his past and characteristics will be presented.

First Ill start up with an introduction the novel itself. The Heart of Darkness explorers the existence, appearance, and purpose of nuance while revealing the darkness, flaws, and complexity of our human nature. The fragile theology of humanity is depicted through and through the events that occur in Marlows narration. The darkness presented in the novel, is the darkness that is apparent in the human beings in the world created by Conrad. This innate darkness manifests itself in the untamed, natural environment in Africa in this novel. This type of darkness, when manifested, tends to air the characteristics that make humans, humans. As example of this deterioration of humanity is shown through Kurtz.



Through Marlows narration, we can see how Kurtz, like intimately of those who travel to Africa full of hopes, deteriorated physically and spiritually in the end.

To start of this analysis, we will first analyze Kurtz as a colonizer from Europe. Kurtz was presented as a man of power and intellect, who stage set the wills of everyone around him to serve himself. In a perspective, Kurtz represented the European colonizers and the imperialistic movement itself.
Another key characteristic of Kurtz is his greediness. wish all colonizers, Kurtz initially had a great desire for fame, power, and wealth. At the beginning, Kurtz seemed to achieve everything. He was famous for his great eloquence, and his godly and inviolate power at the Inner Station.
