Cross-cultural matings are considered the norm in todays society even off though it may create married differences. On the exotic Trobriand Islands, tradition plays an important role which is passed on from generation to generation. I was lucky enough to marry a man from these Islands. Although my cross cultural marriage provided me with vast knowledge, it raise problems amongst my husband and me.
