It may be establish on a true story but to get it from manner up on to the screen requires adaptation. If what you were watching was real, it would be a documentary. And even then, there is a degree of adaptation to attend to \tell the story\. We may even consider adaptation to be another word for perception or interpretation. Just as we will all have our own perceptions of films and the characters within, so, too, do we fool that \baggage\ to the real world. If we judge someone based on their way or their behaviour, where does that judgment come from? What are the forces that shape and receive how we see the world? When we observe the actions of others, we naturally judge them based on our own views and values.
In judging others we are really finding the place where we belong - putting ourselves into a gathering where we think we belong.
