Prescriptions are to be filled yet by a physician do to the possibility of both overdosing or reactions with other medications and the tolerant should be evaluated periodically to run into if the medication is working and/or if the dose needs to be changed. Only the physician and not an assistant, nurse, or other ply my fill up a prescription unless it is a Physicians Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner.
In this end study Jerry McCall is the assistant to Dr. Williams and has information as a medical assistant as well as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). While everyone was out of the dapple Jerry was the only one to answer the audio and when he answered the phone it was a patient asking to make up a fill on a prescription that is Valium which is a controlled centerfield.

Jerry exit have to let the patient know that because it is a controlled substance and that there are no more refills that the patient give have to make an appointment with Dr. Williams.
Even with Jerrys training even though he would like to help the patient but even if the medication was of the nature to control eminent blood pressure he could still not get the prescription filled because only the physician can refill them.
