Roads have landmarks but in our lives they assume the regulate of people and events that mark significant events in our lives.I have wise(p) many great things from participating in softball. It has changed my entire view on and posture toward life. Before my freshman year at high school, I was shy and turned away from patently impossible challenges.Softball has altered all of these qualities. On the first solar day of Junior Varsity radiation diagram, the team warmed up with a game of softball. The players were split up and the game began. However, during the game, I sight that I didnt run as fast as I could around the bases, nor did I try to avoid acquiring strikeouts. The feature of the matter is that I really did not want to be the player batting.I didnt want to be the one at slip for striking out and not scoring any runs. I did not want the responsibility of helping the team because I was too afraid of making a mistake. That aspect of my role led the first years of my high school life.I refrained from intercommunicate questions in class, afraid that they might consider me too mistaken or dumb by my classmates. All the while, I went to practice and every day, I went home physically and mentally exhausted.
even so my apprehension prevailed as I continued to fear getting put in the game in case some other player was injured.



I was still afraid of making mistakes and getting blamed by screaming coaches and angry teammates. Sometimes these fears came true. During my second-year season, my position as an outfielder led me to play in the federation games on many occasions. On such occasions,I often make mistakes. Most of the time the mistakes were not significant;they rarely changed the terminus of play. Yet I received a thorough verbal lashing at practices for mistakes I had do.These occurrences only compounded my fears of playing. However, I did not always make mistakes. Sometimes I made great plays, for which I was congratulated.
